With the Christian Aid & Eglwys Bresbyteraidd Cymru – The Presbyterian Church of Wales Typhoon of Love Appeal coming to an end, here’s message from Revd Catrin Roberts thanking you for your hard work fundraising and raising awareness of the people in need who live in the Philippines.
We will be holding a Church Day of Prayer on Thursday January 11th, 10am – 4pm, in the Junior Church Room. The aim is to present the New Year to God and to seek his guidance for us as a Church and as individuals in the year ahead. Gareth, our Minister, will open the day at 10am and then the room will be available for members and friends of St. Thomas’s to pop in for private prayer at any time. There will be refreshments in the kitchen.
Thank you to each and everyone who attended and took part in our Lessons & Carols by Candlelight Service. We had a full house and the singing was amazing.
Special thanks go to those who arranged the candlelit buffet after where a collection was taken for Christian Aid.
Well done to our wonderful Junior Church (with grown up helpers!) who took part in the Nativity Service on Sunday 17th December 2017 led by Rev John Dowber. You were all amazing! 🌟
